李陞小學前名為1950年成立的「羅富國師範專科學校附屬小學」，沒有獨立校舍，與凌月仙幼稚園同樣是由李寶椿先生撥款興建。新校舍於1954年建成，並以其父李陞先生命名以作紀念。學校為一所官立學校，初年曾稱「官立李陞小學」。校舍原先設有上、下午校，至2000年下午校遷至東邊街改名為「般咸道官立小學」，而上午校則使用原有校舍營運至今。

Li Sing Primary School was formerly named Northcote College of Education’s Subsidiary Primary School. However, it did not have its own separate building. Like Ling Yuet Sin Kindergarten, Li Sing Primary School was also built with a donation made by Mr. Li Po Chun. The new school building was built in 1954, and was named in memory of Mr. Li Po Chun’s father, Li Sing. As a government school, it was initially named the ‘Government Li Sing Primary School’. The school was formerly divided into a morning school and an afternoon school, before its afternoon school moved to Eastern Street and changed its name to Bonham Road Government Primary School. The morning school remains on the original site

and is still running today.
