今年是「雙春兼閏月」？何時「立冬」？一本曆書便可告訴你答案。古人通過觀測天象來制定年、月、日，並將曆法、星體運行結合陰陽五行的情況撰寫成曆書，二十四節氣可告訴人們一年四季氣候的改變，而每日宜忌事宜亦為人們作行事擇日提供參考。

「曆書」又名「通書」，由於粵語中「書」與「輸」同音，所以廣東民間便將「通書」改稱為《通勝》。蔡真步堂是現時香港唯一仍編纂曆法通書的堂號，至今已經歷四代傳人。

How do you know this year has a ‘leaped 1st lunar month’? When will be the ‘start of winter’? A traditional calendar will tell you the answers. The ancient people charted the years, months and days by observing the astronomical phenomena. The calendar was then referenced to the movement of stars and the operation of yin-yang before compiling into an almanac. The 24 solar terms can tell the changes throughout the four seasons while the ‘daily dos and don’ts’ serve as a reference for people in selecting dates for important events.

The traditional almanac is also called ‘Tung Shu’ (The book for everything). However, the pronunciation of ‘book’ (shu) in Cantonese resembles that of ‘losing’ (shu). Hence, the folks of Guangdong started to call ‘Tung Shu’ as ‘Tung Shing’ (all winning). Choi Gen Po Tong is the only brand in Hong Kong compiling the traditional calendar. The school has passed on to the 4th generations.

長春社文化古蹟資源中心（CACHe）於2005年成立，一直積極舉辦古蹟保育活動。我們將繼續秉承宗旨，推廣香港歷史文化，建立知識交流平台，鼓勵大眾參與社區文化遺產保育，建立社區身份認同。

/ 關於非遺專車計劃
本計劃由康樂及文化事務署非物質文化遺產資助計劃資助，非物質文化遺產辦事處主辦，並由長春社文化古蹟資源中心籌劃，非遺專車——「移動．非遺」會駛進全港中小學校園及各個社區，把不同非物質文化遺產（非遺）項目帶到大家身旁。非遺專車內設有展覽及互動設施，同時配有一系列教育及公眾節目，以有趣和互動的方式提升學生與公眾對非遺的認識，並從中學習欣賞和珍惜文化遺產。
