天后又稱媽祖、阿禡、天后聖母等，是中國東南及東南亞沿海地區的著名海神，人們相信天后能守護大家免受於海難。香港是沿海城市，海上經濟活動蓬勃，故天后信仰廣為流傳。香港現時有逾八十間天后廟，並且遍佈港島、九龍、新界和離島。

每年農曆三月廿三是天后誕，不少社區會在這天前後慶祝，一些則會另外選定日子，例如籌辦神功戲，又或舉行海上或陸上巡遊等，好不熱鬧！

Tin Hau is also addressed to as Matsu, Amah, Empress of Heaven, etc. She is the Goddess of Sea well-known in the coastal area of South-East China and South-East Asia as the guardian at sea. Hong Kong is a coastal city with vibrant economic activity in its waters. Thus, the belief of Tin Hau is widely spread in Hong Kong. There are now over 80 Tin Hau Temples all over Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, the New Territories and the Outer Islands.

The Birthday of Tin Hau is on the 23rd day in the 3rd lunar month. Different organisations in the communities will celebrate on that day or on other selected dates by holding thanksgiving operas and parades both on land or at sea. What a joyous event!

長春社文化古蹟資源中心（CACHe）於2005年成立，一直積極舉辦古蹟保育活動。我們將繼續秉承宗旨，推廣香港歷史文化，建立知識交流平台，鼓勵大眾參與社區文化遺產保育，建立社區身份認同。

/ 關於非遺專車計劃
本計劃由康樂及文化事務署非物質文化遺產資助計劃資助，非物質文化遺產辦事處主辦，並由長春社文化古蹟資源中心籌劃，非遺專車——「移動．非遺」會駛進全港中小學校園及各個社區，把不同非物質文化遺產（非遺）項目帶到大家身旁。非遺專車內設有展覽及互動設施，同時配有一系列教育及公眾節目，以有趣和互動的方式提升學生與公眾對非遺的認識，並從中學習欣賞和珍惜文化遺產。
